About The Position

We are seeking a Process Lead to support safe, efficient manufacturing on second shift. In this on-site role you will coordinate daily production activities, lead a small team, and drive quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Occasional overtime may be required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma /GED.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in Senior Process Operator or Senior Technical Operator role.
  • Certified in on-the-job training for relevant work areas or demonstrable experience training others.
  • Comfortable using computers and basic production software; proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools.
  • 3 years minimum GSK experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow and enforce standard work.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills; able to motivate and guide a team.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities and familiarity with root-cause analysis.
  • Able to prioritize, make decisions under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Independent and collaborative working style.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform tasks that include standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing as needed.
  • Able to wear required personal protective equipment and work in an environment with noise and moving equipment.
  • Willingness to work up to 12.5-hour shifts when required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production activities and allocate resources to meet the production schedule.
  • Monitor line performance, address downtime, and ensure timely completion of shift tasks.
  • Lead and coach team members, provide on-the-job training, and support development.
  • Conduct routine safety and quality checks and support inspection readiness.
  • Lead investigations into production or quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, technical, quality) to resolve process issues and implement improvements.
  • Use production systems and basic data to monitor performance and guide decisions.
