Skyworks Solutions is seeking a process/integration/device engineering summer intern within the Foundry Operations Engineering group. We work with world class foundries to deliver process and device technologies for RF, CMOS, BCD products. We strive to maximize yield while maintaining performance and cost with zero-defect mindset to deliver best in class quality. The duration of this internship will be from May- August 2026.

Requirements

  • Education: Masters or Ph.D. Engineering candidate (currently enrolled).
  • Minimum Requirements: Currently pursuing graduate degree in areas such as Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in San Jose office

Nice To Haves

  • Background in devices, materials, or process engineering.
  • Flexible and interested in a wide range of topics within semiconductors devices physics, process, and material.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Data Analysis experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development/ramp/production of various products across multiple fabs by analyzing & modeling Silicon yield and PCM electrical results.
  • Collaborate with technology development, product, quality, reliability, and manufacturing teams to ensure the process technologies meets objectives.
  • Working with the various foundries to meet device targets, yield, and reliability targets.
