About The Position

Join our Process Innovation Team as an intern and play an active role in improving proprietary processes, developing new products, and supporting cutting-edge projects that make a measurable impact on the business. This internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced engineers, and exposure to cross-functional teams—all in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (sophomore, junior, or senior preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-motivated, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute.
  • Interest in manufacturing processes, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Process Innovation Engineers, Managers, and Directors to support projects that improve proprietary products and processes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and help plan and execute production and development trials.
  • Source and obtain vendor quotes for new equipment and components.
  • Assist in evaluating and determining product costs for new and modified processes.
  • Design and build models and prototypes for customer and internal use.
  • Support cost-reduction, safety improvement, and productivity enhancement initiatives.
  • Assist with the modification of new or existing production tooling to ensure functionality and quality.
  • Help develop and support quality assurance testing programs for customer and proprietary projects.
  • Organize and analyze test data, and prepare professional presentations, reports, and project summaries.
  • Uphold and promote all company safety, environmental, and health requirements.
