About The Position
Process Improvement Specialist will provide technical expertise to finance & accounting processes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; researching, recommending, developing and implementing process improvements within the group, troubleshooting and improving databases and valuing contractual terms within accounting systems. Leverages process roles and project management capabilities to deliver process organization, discovery, and improvement engagements, and enable technologies. Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes. The PIT/Programming Specialist will work closely with UPS systems groups and other internal customers in evaluating and developing process improvement requests. He/She is responsible for continuous personal development in available technologies. Position is currently located in the Air Group Building. Flexible start time, plus or minus one hour.
