Sentara Health Plan is currently hiring a Process Improvement Engineer- Remote! This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours) with work hours from 8am to 5pm EST, Monday to Friday. The position is remote for candidates that live in specific states, with occasional travel to Richmond or Virginia Beach as needed. The primary responsibility of a Process Improvement Engineer is to make significant changes in clinical, operational or transformational processes with a strategic or operational focus for Sentara Health Plans. The role involves managing multiple projects for various Sentara leaders simultaneously, prioritizing to meet tight timelines, and overseeing all aspects of the change process including financial, operational, and human resource perspectives. The engineer will help maintain cost discipline, reduce costs, and assist operational leaders in designing efficient processes that improve costs, quality, safety, or revenue.
