Leads significant organizational change initiatives to improve clinical quality, efficiency, effectiveness, timeliness, patient satisfaction and financial performance. Plan and leads the most complex improvement, structural organization, and implementation processes. Provides advice and training on the development, administration and technical aspects of the organization's improvement efforts at all levels. Assists clinical and non-clinical personnel in assessing work and identifying areas/processes for improvement and executing improvement plans. Works cooperatively with Senior administrative and clinical leadership to (a) identify improvement opportunities in the most complex, multi-system environments using state of the art analytical tools and current best practices, (b) establish expectations for improvement initiatives, and (c) determine resources (financial, staff, data, management) needed to accomplish goals (d) facilitate and implement complex improvement/change plans. With administrative and clinical project sponsors, develops project charters, teams, plans, and strategies necessary to fulfill project goals. Consults with others, formally and informally, regarding organizational or process change and project management solutions to problems and/or barriers. Works with others to demonstrate and communicate success, progress, organizational learning. Serves as a technical and educational resource to others in the organization for projects and management education. Applies or teaches Statistical Process Control, process improvement, or other quantitative and qualitative tools, as appropriate for each assignment, and as might be assigned.
