Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience working in manufacturing.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to follow written instructions and document findings accurately.
• Willingness to learn technical processes and tools.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.
• Strong collaborative skills in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree or technical certification in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
• Basic understanding of electronics or mechanical assembly.
• Experience with basic tasks such as soldering, wiring, and operating machine tools to create components.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Previous experience supporting engineering or manufacturing teams.
• Exposure to ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485 standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and execution of basic engineering tests or process trials.
• Support, set up, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Resolve issues with equipment, perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to maintain equipment, and conduct minor repairs.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Prepare prototypes, fixtures, or materials for engineering evaluations.
• Provide support to production as needed: troubleshooting machine issues, program issues, and fixing equipment.
• Follow all safety and ESD protocols.
• Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow.
