Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Release WIP from hold. * Execute OCAP following process specification. * Execute engineering experiment per instruction from engineer. * Train/certify operators. * Write / Proof-read process specification. Education & Experience Required Minimum Education âÂÂNo Diploma âÂÂHigh School Diploma or equivalent âÂÂCollege Course work or equivalent âÂÂ2 Year college degree (Associate or equivalent) âÂÂ4 Year college degree (Bachelor or equivalent) âÂÂPost-graduate degree or equivalent Expected Minimum Years of Related Experience âÂÂLess than 1 year âÂÂ2+ years âÂÂ4+ years âÂÂ6+ years âÂÂ8+ years âÂÂ10+ years Skills * Knowledge of general semiconductor wafer processing and engineering practices * GaAs/InP semiconductor processing or optoelectronics device experience preferred * In-depth knowledge of unit process * SEM experience is a plus * Knowledge of engineering statistics * Good written/oral communication skills * Fluency in MS Office suite as well as JMP or other statistics software Working Conditions * Will be exposed to areas where hand tools and power tools are being operated * Will be exposed to areas where hazardous chemicals or gases are stored * Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per semi-conductor protocol/requirements Physical Requirements * Work in a class 100/1000 clean room for extended periods * Wear full cleanroom attire (smock, mask, etc.) * Work with and/or around chemicals (such as solids and acids) * Stand for up to 4 hours at a time * Lift up to 16-30 Pounds * Push/Pull up to 16-30 pounds * Sit for up to 4 hours at a time Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
