About The Position
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a motivated, results oriented and detailed professional for our Process Engineering Technician. If you are looking for an opportunity to support manufacturing operations and work with a variety of products in an ever-changing work environment, then this position is for you! Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30PM to 11:00PM As a Process Engineering Technician, a typical day will include the following: Provide immediate technical support to manufacturing and clarify production process specification requirements to ensure accurate and efficient production. Assist in measuring and improving yield, efficiency, and capacity of manufacturing equipment and processes. Document, modify, and maintain manufacturing related procedures. Manage the procurement of assembly process tools. Train operators and support staff as needed. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. Understand. Create. Simplify. Other duties as assigned.
