Requirements

  • Education — BS or MS degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience — Minimum 8 years’ experience in chemical manufacturing industry, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Special skills — SAP knowledge preferred, excellent project management, leadership, people management & communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications and licenses — Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality products at competitive cost.
  • The position oversees the day-to-day process engineering function including managing short- and long-term projects related to process safety, quality improvement, new product introduction, and product & process equipment validation.
  • Executes engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost.
  • Liaises with other stakeholders to provide professional support and advice.
  • Leads and manages a team of process engineers to implement projects and improvements in the area of responsibility.
  • Monitors KPIs for engineering processes and drives continuous performance improvement.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise.
  • Acts as a member of site leadership team.
