Requirements
- Education — BS or MS degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Experience — Minimum 8 years’ experience in chemical manufacturing industry, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Special skills — SAP knowledge preferred, excellent project management, leadership, people management & communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Certifications and licenses — Six Sigma certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality products at competitive cost.
- The position oversees the day-to-day process engineering function including managing short- and long-term projects related to process safety, quality improvement, new product introduction, and product & process equipment validation.
- Executes engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost.
- Liaises with other stakeholders to provide professional support and advice.
- Leads and manages a team of process engineers to implement projects and improvements in the area of responsibility.
- Monitors KPIs for engineering processes and drives continuous performance improvement.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise.
- Acts as a member of site leadership team.
