About The Position

The Process Engineering Manager at John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is responsible for leading the Process Burner team. Requirements

• Technical expertise within the refining or chemical process industry.
• Experience in leading or directly applying engineering principles to drive the best solution based on customer objectives to maintain, optimize, and/or troubleshoot.
• Proven leadership influence, including mentorship, and the capacity to inspire and drive team performance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including engineers, technicians, and senior management.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Principle Based Management (PBM).
• Experience in conducting, reviewing, and interpreting CFD analysis.
• Direct experience in process heating or burner equipment.
• Direct supervisory experience.
• Ability to guide experiments and tests towards delivering successful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of process engineers to deliver technical support and tailored solutions to meet customer operational objectives.
• Supervise and develop employees to maximize their contributions by applying Principle Based Management (PBM).
• Oversee assessments and recommendations of burner technology selection in collaboration with the commercial team to meet customer needs while optimizing risk.
• Engage with customer counterparts to understand their needs and deliver technical presentations.
