Requirements

  • Candidates must hold a degree in one of the following disciplines: Textile Engineer, Polymer/Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience in the development, testing, or manufacturing of non-woven textiles.
  • Strong understanding of polymer properties, processing techniques, and applications in industrial or consumer products.
  • Experience implementing and managing quality assurance protocols, including statistical process control and defect analysis.
  • Ability to analyze production or performance data using tools such as Excel, or specialized manufacturing analytics platforms to drive process improvements and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Support Operations by identifying and resolving machine failures and suboptimal performance through data analysis, engineering studies, predictive maintenance, and root cause analysis.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and systems thinking to methodically break down problems and craft appropriate solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of industrial control systems and electromechanical systems/principles to troubleshoot and resolve ongoing machine issues.
  • Support all company safety objectives through modification or redesign of equipment.
  • Provide design and project management support to the Engineering and Maintenance Teams as needed.
  • Work with third parties to outsource fabrications and procure necessary parts or materials.
