Process Engineer Intern (Summer 2026)

3A Composites USA specializes in the manufacturing of leading substrates for the graphic display, architectural and framing markets in North America, South America and Central America. We are seeking a motivated Process Engineering Intern to support continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations. This role will provide hands-on experience in process optimization, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic production environment. The intern will work alongside engineering and operations teams to evaluate processes, support improvement efforts, and contribute to key operational projects.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to observe, document, and analyze processes
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or industrial operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality
- Collect, organize, and interpret production and experimental data
- Support process trials and testing activities under engineering guidance
- Monitor and assist with quality and process control activities
- Document findings, procedures, and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and engineering
- Support ongoing projects and operational initiatives as needed
- Present a summary of work and key learnings at the conclusion of the internship
