We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious student to join our Process Engineering team for summer 2026! As the Process Engineering Intern, you will support the process engineering team in our efforts to drive continuous improvement & process optimization efforts.

Requirements

  • Progress towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Ability to work safely in a plant operations environment
  • Interpersonal, verbal and written technical communication skills, e.g. making presentations and writing technical data/reports
  • Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Excel/ Microsoft Word

Responsibilities

  • Collect process data to help make process improvement decisions & recommend future Cap-Ex/Non Cap-Ex project
  • Support completion of continuous improvement projects including 5S, RCA (Root-Cause Analysis) Facilitation, & FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis)
  • Support process engineering team in creating standards to help standardize plant operations
  • Drive the digitization of plant metrics including KPI's & process indicators
  • Standardize plant work flows to mitigate food safety risks & reduce downgraded material
