About The Position

The intern will be assigned to a Process Engineer who will guide them through several engineering assignments. These assignments will give exposure to all areas of the facility including the three major process areas (Crude, Hydrobon/Coker and South Complex), process control and Energy/Utilities. The duties of the intern will revolve around familiarity of the refinery and equipment.

Requirements

• Enrolled in or recent graduate of a Chemical Engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Completion of the Hunt Safety course
• Familiarization with Unit Operations within the refinery
• Marking up and verifying Process and Instrumentation Diagrams
• Identification and familiarization of various types of equipment
• Project or projects that will build on knowledge gained during previous assignments.
