About The Position

We're hiring Process Engineering Interns for the Winter term. The internship begins in May or June, with the option for preferably a 4 to 8-month commitment. We’re rebuilding the chip fabrication process from the ground-up, so you’ll be exposed to some really interesting and impactful work. This is a hands-on process engineering role— that means getting your hands dirty designing experiments, pushing wafers, analyzing data and pathfinding.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering
  • Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot technical problems
  • Hands-on experience in a cleanroom or semiconductor lab fabricating wafers
  • Hands-on experience with wafer fabrication tools (etch, deposition, patterning) and metrology tools (AFM, SEM, thin film measurement, etc.)
  • Strong foundation in theoretical semiconductor knowledge (devices, fabrication, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with data processing in Python is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Designing experiments in conjunction with our process engineers, reading papers, white-boarding
  • Pushing wafers and learning tools
  • Analyzing experimental data, driving next steps
