About The Position

The position involves assisting the Maintenance and Engineering departments in investigating and building action plans to resolve specific issues related to machinery, installations, and processes. The intern will communicate with vendors and contractors to discuss technical solutions and alternatives for plant issues. Additionally, the role includes the elaboration and control of documentation related to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) processes from the Maintenance and Engineering departments.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Help Maintenance and Engineering to investigate and build action plans to solve specific issues on machinery/installations and processes.
• Be in touch with vendors and contractors to discuss technical solutions and alternatives to solve issues on the plant.
• Elaborate and control documentation related to RCA and PDCA from Maintenance and Engineering departments.
• Work closely with our reliability engineer to understand and support initiatives related to issues and improvements on the shop floor.
• Engage with automation and maintenance supervisors to collect data needed for RCA and PDCA processes.
