Process Engineering Intern (Fab) - Indianapolis, IN Fabrication is a key part of our business. Reporting to the Department Supervisor, a Robotics Technician is responsible for developing and maintaining processes for robots in our fabrication department. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, this is the role for you. Successful candidates will have some prior experience in manufacturing. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.

Requirements

  • In Process to obtain Associated Degree or Bachelor’s degree
  • Training or experience with technical process, machining, stamping, fabrication
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Implementing new processes to the plant
  • Problem solves machining and stamping issues
  • Program CNC machines, G-Code and conversational
  • Support rebuilds of old equipment to like new condition
  • Identify critical spare parts and partner with maintenance to improve process reliability.
  • Support shop floor layout with AutoCAD or equivalent.
  • Collaborate with other plant employees and work in a team environment.
  • Keep abreast of latest technology and recommend new processes improvements.
  • Effectively communicate in a professional, positive manner, with all levels of the organization.
  • Develop work instructions and standard work to support the shop floor.
