Pay Range: $55,600.00 - $91,450.00 Position Summary: This Process Engineering Associate position is a >75% bench based position that will initiate and execute testing of Luminex assays supporting Product Support investigations. Position will also have significant work on raw material equivalence testing across multiple immunoassay platforms including Luminex, ELISA Quantikine, QuicKit, and DuoSet products. Evaluate and research the issues, plan and perform appropriate experiments, and report final conclusions with little or no supervision. This position functions collaboratively with multiple departments. This position will also support addressing post-launch manufacturing, QC, marketing, and customer issues to include troubleshooting problems and enhancing or improving products or processes. The Process Engineer will join a strong and fun multidisciplinary team of biologists, chemists and engineers focused on developing breakthrough solutions, with great opportunities to develop your technical and intellectual skill sets in a highly dynamic and interactive environment. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience; Or, Master’s degree in a related field and 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess a demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with bead-based immunoassays and / or plate-based assays is desirable.
  • Computer entry and/or typing skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing for Luminex, Quantikine, QuicKit and DuoSet immunoassays.
  • Prepare reports and summaries of experiments.
  • Maintain lab equipment (plate washers, Luminex instruments and spectrophotometers).
  • Maintain compliance with quality training and documentation.
  • Effectively prioritize and complete goals on time via demonstrated proficiency with planning and multi-tasking.
  • Collaborate with biologists, chemists and engineers across Development, Operations, Quality Control and Process Engineering teams
  • Develop presentations and communicate technical results to internal and external groups
  • Follows company policies and practices as outlined in Handbook and follow guidelines regarding safety as outline in the AWAIR, Chemical Hygiene and Exposure Control manuals in accordance to the job.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
