With extensive development and manufacturing expertise and a wide range of flavors, ingredients, and colors available, we can work with complex formulations to help create engaging new products consumers will love.

  • Oversee and manage the scale-up and commercialization of soft chew and lozenge dietary supplement products.
  • Provide technical support for the commissioning and qualification of new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot new and existing processing problems involving designs, materials and processes and provide creative, timely, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Analyze product formulations and product specifications to determine optimal physical characteristics of materials and product, critical processing parameters, and environmental and safety requirements.
  • Establish standards and guidelines for machine specifications.
  • Evaluate and determine where operational limitations occur and what configurations are needed to ensure enhanced success.
  • Align with Sales on pricing as new items are introduced.
  • Evaluate speed, limitations, capacity, and throughput to ensure profitability margins are met.
  • Work closely with research and development, quality assurance, procurement, and external suppliers.
  • Work with maintenance and operational staff to develop and implement procedures for machine operations, preventative maintenance and safety.
  • Identify and implement cost saving initiatives related to raw materials, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage.
  • Drive trials on new products to ensure efficiency and cost quotes are met.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
  • 5+ years' experience in a confectionary manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years' experience as an engineer.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving/process improvement skills.
  • Knowledge of machinery operations and packaging equipment.
  • The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel and is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
  • The employee is required to sit, climb or balance and taste or smell.
