About The Position

The Process Engineer will be involved in the planning of new water treatment plants, including pure water, ultra-pure water, reclaim water, and wastewater. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of water treatment processes and the ability to create detailed engineering documents and specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, process, environmental, biological engineering, or related fields.
  • Academic knowledge and interest in water treatment and the water environment.
  • Understanding of industrial standards, materials, P&ID, piping diagrams, hydraulic calculations, pump and valve selection.
  • Experience with ASME/ANSI/OSHA/UL standards.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools, particularly AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
  • Experience as a process engineer at a water treatment consulting engineering firm or a water treatment technology provider.

Nice To Haves

  • New graduates or 1-3 years of EPC project experience in Process, Test & Commissioning positions across various industries, including water treatment.
  • Proficiency in Japanese/Taiwanese/Vietnamese languages.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Plant 3D, or Cad works Plant.

Responsibilities

  • Remodeling and extension planning of existing plants.
  • Creating block flow sheets, water balances, P&ID.
  • Creating operation diagrams and level control drawings.
  • Creating planning specifications.
  • Performing calculations for tank capacity, piping pressure loss, RO, chemical consumption, etc.
  • Cost estimation for initial and operational costs.
  • Preparation of purchase specifications for equipment and instruments.
  • Preparing and delivering client presentations and proposals.
  • Selecting equipment and instruments, creating equipment/instrument lists.
  • Conducting site surveys and customer visits.
  • Supporting FAT/Plant completion inspections.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel (10%).
