About The Position

Position Summary: This position is responsible for completing various projects in the engineering department at the Cambria manufacturing plant and other Cambria facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of tasks as needed to complete projects including: Mechanical equipment installation. Equipment rigging, loading and unloading. Fabrication and welding. Pipe fitting and soldering. Basic electrical and conduit installation. Carpentry tasks. Installing pneumatic air lines. Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, boom lifts, construction equipment and power tools, as needed to complete assigned projects. Travel between Cambria locations as required for various projects. Complete basic reports on projects. Complete assigned projects efficiently and cost-effectively while minimizing downtime. Use internal resources when coordinating projects. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems. Follow safe operating procedures including wearing personal protective equipment, lock out tag out, and maintaining required safety certifications. Work indoors and outdoors. Occasionally work on the weekend Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor . Minimum Qualifications : Ability to read and write and speak in English to complete required tasks. Ability to work in a team to accomplish a goal.

Requirements

  • Technical degree and or 2+ years of experience Maintenance, Fabrication, Construction, or Electrical field.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years manufacturing or construction experience
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Fractional and Algebraic Math skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure.
  • Ability to become certified in using a forklift, scissors lift, and aerial lift
