About The Position

Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for designing, implementing and improving the TX treatment processes that satisfy customer requirements. This includes supporting the quality system as well as championing the use of best practices to drive process improvements in productivity, quality and safety. Come Build with Us: TX treatment process to include pre and post treatment process ownership. Design and maintain TX treatment processes to effectively process customer parts according to customer requirements. Estimate infrastructure, equipment and resource needs and costs. Apply best practices and analyze data. Utilize statistical process control to understand trends, determine root cause and corrective action, and to drive improvements. Work out the best production methods. Present plans to managers for their approval. Understand the chemical processes utilized in TX treatments and effectively apply them in production. Supervise the appropriate application of production equipment, and establish appropriate work instructions and maintenance plans for all production processes. Interface with both customers and project resources to meet production requirements. Support production processes, self-starter who seeks continuous improvement in personal work and manufacturing processes. Identify infrastructure and equipment improvements that enhance current production and enable future capabilities. Provide engineering support for customer production approval (PPAP, CP, PFMEA, PFD development and approval). Identify external equipment and service suppliers. Coordinate tooling and material purchases as required. Coordinate with Corporate resources such as, Automation, Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities, Information Technology, and Machine Maintenance departments to ensure equipment and facility systems function safely and reliably. Research new processing techniques and equipment to minimize waste, and handle our hazardous materials safely and in alignment with local, state and federal regulations. Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in engineering or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience using CAD/CAM software and automation equipment.
  • Experience with mechanical, chemical, or electrical manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in using project management tools.
  • Ability to read design prints, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and familiarization of inspection equipment and gages.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, and Excel. MS Project or related software preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time while performing duties.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of forty pounds in a safe manner.
  • Must have ability to pass medical evaluation for respirator use and abide by requirements for wearing respiratory protection such as a Powered Air Purifying Respirator.
