The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining efficient manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality product output while minimizing waste and cost. This role plays a critical part in continuous improvement initiatives, equipment integration, and driving operational excellence within the production environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience with Electronic or Electromechanical assembly.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering role.
Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.
Experience with CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems.

Nice To Haves

Experience with NPI and transition to production.
Experience with adhesives and potting are a plus
Experience in automation or robotics integration.
Familiarity with ISO/AS9100/IATF16949 standards.
Background in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Hands-on experience with equipment installation, troubleshooting, and productivity improvement.
