This role will have multiple responsibilities. We are currently designing and building a pilot plant facility. This role will have two phases: Construction and Operations. During construction, the role will attend and contribute to Hazardous Operability studies for the pilot plant design, assist in writing Standard Operating Procedures, provide daily management of the construction crew, perform toolbox talks each morning, perform Hazardous Risk Assessments during the construction process, maintain the project schedule and provide weekly updates to management, manage all work orders, manage all lockouts, confined space entries, and occupational hygiene, and receive all deliveries. During operations, the role will supervise the operations and maintenance teams, operate equipment when required, input and manage process data, assist in data analytics, perform flowsheet optimization, schedule and manage sample analysis with external laboratories, and work flexible hours that could include nightshifts.
