Job Summary The Process Enginer will provide technical support and continuous improvement for PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT, through‑hole, secondary ops). Ensure stable production performance, high quality, and smooth NPI execution. Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do: Own daily support for SMT printing, placement, reflow, AOI/AXI, wave/selective solder. Troubleshoot defects and drive root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and yield improvement. Support NPI builds: DFM input, prototype support, documentation, and equipment programming. Maintain process parameters, monitor KPIs, and ensure process capability and stability. Collaborate with Quality to reduce defects, meet IPC/J‑STD standards, and close customer issues. Manage tooling needs (stencils, fixtures, pallets) and evaluate materials/process changes. Lead or contribute to Lean/CI initiatives to reduce waste and improve uptime and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ME/EE/MfgE/IE or related field).
  • 3–7 years PCBA process engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SMT fundamentals (printing, stencil design, placement, reflow).
  • Experience with defect analysis and troubleshooting (e.g., opens, tombstoning, bridging, voiding).
  • Familiarity with PFMEA, SPC, DOE, Lean/CI tools.
  • Experience with SMT programming and inspection systems (SPI, AOI, AXI).
  • Working knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD‑001 requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Selective solder, conformal coating, potting, or PCBA test experience.
  • Green Belt or demonstrated CI project effectiveness.
  • Experience in high‑mix or high‑volume PCBA environments.
