About The Position

The Process Engineer exists to design, improve, and safeguard complex gas manufacturing and distribution systems that power critical industries including semiconductor manufacturing, healthcare, and advanced technologies. This role leads system design from concept to startup ensuring every solution is safe, efficient, compliant, and built to perform under real -world operational demands. This is not a maintenance role. It is a leadership role in engineering precision. To engineer reliable, high -performance gas processing systems that support plant growth, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence — while continuously improving safety, efficiency, and technical capability across the facility. The Process Engineer serves as the technical authority during design, review, installation, and startup phases, ensuring systems are viable, cost -effective, and built to last.

Requirements

  • Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred; Mechanical considered with relevant experience).
  • Experience in process design, plant engineering, or capital project execution.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs, and process documentation.
  • Comfortable supporting regulatory requirements (EPA, OSHA, industry -specific standards).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Front -End Engineering Design
  • Develop PFDs, P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, and equipment specifications for new and upgraded systems.
  • Take projects from concept through startup and turnover to operations.
  • Drive Safety & Compliance
  • Serve as technical representative in HAZOPs and design reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal safety standards.
  • Participate in final field safety inspections.
  • Engineer Process Improvements
  • Design and implement system upgrades that improve plant efficiency, reliability, and customer responsiveness.
  • Develop purification, handling, and disposal systems for specialty gasses.
  • Execute Capital & Expansion Projects
  • Create and execute project plans that meet safety, quality, timeline, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate cross -functionally with operations, project management, procurement, and safety teams.
  • Solve Complex Technical Problems
  • Apply systems thinking and technical judgment to address plant -based process challenges.
  • Develop innovative, practical solutions grounded in cost awareness and operational feasibility.
