About The Position

What You Can Expect: Process Analysis and Optimization: Conduct detailed analysis of current warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping. Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs. Design and implement streamlined workflows that maximize resource utilization and minimize waste. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze operational data, such as cycle times, throughput, inventory levels, and order accuracy, to identify trends and performance metrics. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommend process improvements. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, accuracy, and overall operational excellence. Lead Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, and other improvement methodologies to drive tangible results. Layout and Facility Design: Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to enhance storage capacity, material flow, and accessibility. Recommend improvements to racking systems, shelving, and equipment placement to support efficient operations. Technology Integration: Evaluate and recommend technology solutions such as warehouse management systems (WMS), automated picking systems, and data capture technologies to improve overall warehouse operations. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of chosen technologies. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop and document standardized operating procedures that ensure consistency, accuracy, and safety in warehouse processes. Train and educate warehouse staff on new procedures and best practices What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineer, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus. 2-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations management within a warehouse or distribution environment. Proficiency in using process analysis tools, data visualization software, and statistical analysis techniques. Strong understanding of lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement frameworks. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and familiarity with warehouse automation technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to think critically. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey complex ideas effectively. Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations management within a warehouse or distribution environment.
