About The Position

The Manufacturing Process Engineer develops, implements, and qualifies manufacturing processes, equipment, equipment programming, software, and tools used by engineering and production. The Manufacturing Process Engineer ensures processes are established and equipment is programmed and operated at optimal efficiency. Reports to Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering. Located in Newark, CA.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering degree and/or related certifications
• Must have knowledge of metrology skills including a sound understanding of dimensional tolerances and usage of precise mechanical measurement instruments
• Must demonstrate ability to be accurate and identify procedural inaccuracies and make recommendations for ongoing improvements and effectively implement changes
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently, make effective decisions, and resolve technical issues
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and be able to effectively interact with all levels of the organization across all departments and proactively identify issues and recommendations improvements
• Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in teams to achieve results
• Strong knowledge of SMT processes and component / PCA manufacturability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products such as Word and Excel or equivalent software applications is preferred

• Manage and maintain SMT systems to support the manufacturing process:

• Lead and manage the personnel of the SMT & equipment support team:
• Other duties and responsibilities related to ME function, as assigned
