About The Position

Process Engineer – Precision Tool Manufacturing Grow from Machining to Engineering with Moeller Precision Tool Why This Role Is Unique: Ready to move from the shop floor into engineering? Moeller Precision Tool is looking for a Process Engineer who will help optimize production processes for world-class tooling. This is the perfect opportunity for experienced machinists who want to take the next step into engineering. If you understand how things are made and want to influence how they’re improved, this is your chance. CNC programming or CAD experience is a plus—but not required. We’ll help you develop those skills. Who We’re Looking For: Experienced Machinists or shop floor professionals who want to move into engineering. People who enjoy solving problems and improving how things are made. Candidates who want to grow with a company and take on more responsibility over time. Note: This is not a senior engineering role. We’re seeking candidates who want to grow into a Process Engineer position and help improve how things are made. If you have a master’s degree in engineering or extensive experience as a manufacturing engineer, this position may not be the right fit.

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3–5 years of machinist experience in a job shop or production environment.
  • Solid understanding of CNC/manual machining (mills, lathes, grinders).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes, tolerances, and materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CAD Software (Kubotek, CATIA, Unigraphics)
  • Experience with Epicor ERP or similar systems.
  • CNC Programming experience using CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360).

Responsibilities

  • Develop work instructions to optimize fabrication of Build to Print precision components
  • Generates bill of materials and develops process flows to meet customer specifications
  • Interacts with Engineering Manager, Plant Management, and the Quality Manager for job related functions
  • Aids plant for technical issues related to processes and customer specifics
