About The Position

Industrial Manufacturing analyst partners with sales, customers, customer service, quality, and manufacturing team members to ensure customer expectations are met through exceptional quality designs and cost projections. They analyze processes, design efficiency/workflows, and implement strategies to enhance productivity, quality and cost. The role requires a blend of engineering principles, analytics, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

  • Communication Skills: Communicates clearly in speaking, writing, and presentations. Explains technical information in a way that all audiences can understand. Builds a positive team culture by being open, respectful, and transparent, which supports excellent customer service
  • Documentation & Standards: Knowledge of drafting standards (e.g., GD&T), as well as the ability to create, edit, and manage technical documentation.
  • Technical Drawing & Design: Ability to use CAD and create accurate 2D drafts and 3D models, including understanding geometry, and projections.
  • Planning & Organizing: Ability to define tasks and milestones to achieve objectives, while ensuring the best use of resources. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Technologically Savvy: Willing to learn new applications and approaches. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and automation techniques.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Apply principles, including the function of tools and machines and how they interact with each other. Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical problems.
  • Judgment & Decision-Making: Remains objective under pressure to meet company goals and customer specifications. Strong application and troubleshooting skills with fluid power and systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods to assess performance and identify areas of improvement. Ability to analyze complex problems relevant to modern manufacturing with emphasis on safety, quality, productivity and cost through continuous improvement that identifies root causes and develops effective solutions.
  • Ability to utilize and read tape measures and digital calipers.
  • Bachelor of Science degree or two plus years of equivalent experience; Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Project Engineer, and Process Development Engineer

Nice To Haves

  • Two to three years of experience as an Engineer in an OEM fabricator setting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean and/or Six Sigma principles and ISO 9001.
  • Experience using Epicor and CAD systems is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Familiarity with AC - IMACA 305 and 320 standards is a plus.
  • Hydraulic hoses and fittings experience is a plus
  • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt a plus

Responsibilities

  • In coordination with fellow engineers and the Divisional Manager, plan, execute and manage projects aimed at continuous improvement, product expansion, working with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with management, clients, vendors, and production staff to gather information, provide updates, and ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Design and implement control systems, including inventory control, logistics, and material flow systems.
  • Estimate production costs (material, labor, equipment, and indirect cost) analyze costsaving methods and assess the impact of product design changes on expenditures.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and other project documents to understand the scope and requirements. Provide feedback on specs related to customer drawings.
  • Develop and manage production schedule, coordinating resources and activities to meet production goals. Update routing of product orders per operational requirements.
  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet specified standards and minimize defects.
  • Work alongside the production and quality teams to address quality issues and support actions necessary to reduce the number of non-conformances.
  • Data entry and database management required.
  • Participate in a culture that works with a sense of urgency and disciplined adherence that supports customer quality and delivery expectations while achieving profitability targets.
  • Identify and address any issues or delays that may disrupt production, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Participate in safety practices and policies.
