As we continue being 'Here for you’, we’re looking for a Process Engineer to join our Production & manufacturing team. EMPLOYER: Ontex Operations USA, LLC TITLE: Process Engineer DUTIES: Drive overall operational and performance reduction losses in overall equipment effectiveness by ensuring capture and analysis of process and quality data to identify opportunities and create solutions. Strive for zero accidents and zero quality losses. Perform Root Cause Analysis on overall equipment effectiveness losses (i.e. operational and performance losses). Work on projects to improve performance, reduce losses and costs. Prepare documentation for process specifications, procedures, and work instructions. Develop operational standards, keep them updated and audit their correct application in the shop floor. Train and mentor production staff on new processes and best practices. Exchange good practices with the Process Engineers of the other AMUs. Implement Lean Manufacturing (OMEX) principles to drive continuous improvement. Develop, execute and optimize product/size changeovers. Actively participate in the development of the Capex projects, providing process input to the Engineering/Projects team. Execute lean principles, including 5S methodology, Autonomous Maintenance, Kaizen events, Standardized work practices, SMED, and Gemba walks (on-site observation). Utilize tools and techniques to resolve process and quality losses (Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Process mapping, and Problem-solving workshops). Lead root cause analysis for operation and performance losses, including the 5 Whys, Fishbone diagram analysis, Data-driven analysis, Cross-functional team facilitation for problem solving, and Conducting failure investigations and reporting. Develop operational standards, keeping them updated and auditing their correct application on the shop floor. Utilize Microsoft Excel (advanced functions and macros), ERP systems (SAP), data visualization tools (Power BI), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
