About The Position

The position involves developing manufacturing processes for electric buses by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment, and conferring with equipment vendors. The role also focuses on improving manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout. Quality assurance of electric bus products and processes is a key responsibility, which includes designing testing methods, testing finished products and process capabilities, establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing processes. Additionally, the position requires converting electric bus design engineers' drawings into work instructions and production BOMs, supporting new product development from trial through to commercialization, and improving production lines. The role also involves preparing product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, providing manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests, and contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required.
• 24 months of experience in any engineering position in the electric bus manufacturing industry required.
