About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to provide technical support and engineering solutions for process and equipment-related issues. This role involves supporting production staff during manufacturing activities, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting complex problems. The ideal candidate will ensure equipment and processes operate in compliance with regulatory commitments, GMPs, and all relevant standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical or animal health industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in fill finish processes.
  • Excellent communication abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • In-depth understanding of process engineering principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, cGMP, and FDA compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for production and maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process-related issues.
  • Ensure equipment and systems are qualified for their intended purpose.
  • Maintain equipment and processes in an expected state of control.
  • Provide on-floor support to Manufacturing teams for equipment and process troubleshooting.
  • Ensure issues are identified, captured in the quality management system, and resolved with appropriate corrective and preventative actions.
  • Oversee maintenance for process equipment and document changes appropriately through the change management system.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to understand performance and capacity, and implement improvements to optimize system performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Haz-ops and process safety reviews, identifying and mitigating hazards.
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal requirements, cGMP standards, and company policies and procedures.
  • Complete necessary training to stay current with industry standards.
