About The Position

Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries. The position requires a continuing consciousness of safety in daily activities and implemented in work design, along with advanced experience with Industry Standard Engineering Simulation Software (Aspen, HySys, Pro II, and the like). The role involves tracking and reporting budget and schedule for multiple projects, reviewing engineering and vendor drawings, and mentoring less experienced Engineers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint is necessary, along with the ability to work with data to generate periodic reports as needed.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Process Engineering – Preferred.
• Heavy Refinery Experience.
• 4 Year Degree in Engineering or Science from an ABET accredited institution – Required; degree in Chemical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates analytical skills for troubleshooting designs not working as planned.
• Applies ingenuity for using the broad concepts of chemical engineering to address specific problems.
• Develops positive working relationships with other employees involved in the overall project execution process.
• Utilizes math skills for advanced math topics including troubleshooting work and calculus for analysis and design.
• Leads a team of Process Engineers.
• Performs design and sizing calculations for equipment.
• Leads multidiscipline project teams in identifying bottlenecks and devising solutions to resolve them.
• Recommends multidiscipline changes or upgrades to improve functionality or efficiency.
• Resolves intradepartmental and interdepartmental issues.
