As a Process Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor manufacturing technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues. You'll also measure film properties, generate technical documentation, and engage with customers to resolve concerns. Process Engineers collaborate with vendors and suppliers, and become familiar with implementing new technologies and products. You will experiment, learn, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor and display industries, partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams on state-of-the-art research and development projects. We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Advanced Packaging Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process team . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PVD product development , proven leadership skills, and the ability to drive data-driven design improvements in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams. This role requires interfacing with key customers, presenting complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, and managing a team of engineers to deliver innovative solutions in advanced packaging.

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of process and development engineers in PVD technology for advanced packaging. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Technical Expertise & Development: Drive PVD product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry trends. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to implement data-driven design improvements for enhanced process performance and reliability.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as a primary technical interface with key customers, providing expert guidance and support. Build strong relationships to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Communication & Presentation: Present technical data and complex concepts clearly and effectively to audiences ranging from working-level engineers to senior executives (VP level and above). Prepare and deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in PVD process development, with a strong focus on advanced packaging applications.
  • Proven track record in product development and process optimization .
  • Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, technical reviews, and global collaboration.
