About The Position

The role of the Process Engineer will be to work with the Team on Safety, Quality, Production and Cost improvements throughout the roll mill primarily. The Process Engineer will work collaboratively with the team to refine our process and reach team goals. The successful candidate should be willing to comply with a rotating work schedule working 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, etc. as needed. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in continuous process improvement and process validation.
• 3 years of experience in data analysis and trend identification.

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 Years Steel/Manufacturing Experience in an industrial setting.
• Prior Leadership experience.
• Proficient with computer programs including Microsoft Office, ERP software, and AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of QMOS and IBA systems.
• Experience leading various technical process improvements from inception through completion.
