About The Position

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! Responsibilities: Improve processes, methods and quality for efficiency. Perform research, design and develop manufacturing processes, to include production flow, assembly methods and production equipment. Coordinate launch of new/revised products establishing goals, training team members and evaluation results. Design, develop and test and/or source and cost-justify various tools, machinery and equipment for manufacturing methods. Perform process/product analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement and improved efficiency. Lead by example, ensure implementation of Organizational Objectives for Workplace Safety. Ensure workplace order and cleanliness. Comply with all Company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 1-3 years experience as a manufacturing engineer.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques.
• Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment.
• Working knowledge of Quality Systems ISO, QS, TS16949.
• Quality orientation, attention to detail, problem analysis and problem resolution
• Must be able to assist Manufacturing Manager in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control and training.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written .
• Strong interpersonal skills: able to form strong working relationships and communicate well with team members at all levels of the organization.
