You’ll be joining the Sabre 3D process and technology team, a dynamic group focused on innovation and excellence to advance and innovate on SME (semiconductor manufacturing equipment) electrodeposition products in the field of semiconductor advanced packaging. Our team thrives on collaboration, technical rigor, and creative problem-solving. As a process engineering manager, you operate on cutting-edge technology, leveraging chemistry, applying chemical and process engineering to drive excellence and innovation in technology and processing formulation. Your role involves developing improvements to existing and new processes, defining and participating on equipment system and hardware designs to meet processing requirements, evaluating test data, and coordinating timeline requirements. Your expertise and knowledge play a crucial role to our customers success, making an impact on the next generation of semiconductor breakthroughs. At this level, you will have opportunity to manage a team of process engineers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4-6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Interest in advanced technology and an on-going desire to learn.
• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to respond to shifting priorities to meet business needs and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners.
• Collaborative mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Process engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands on experience working with wet chemistry and analytical techniques.
• Skilled in areas of fluid mechanics, transport, surface science.
• Knowledgeable in electrochemistry.
• Experienced working on SEMI equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process engineering research, development, and evaluation in support of the Sabre 3D product portfolio and related systems.
• Develop new process and/or make improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields.
• Compile and analyze test data to establish next steps in process and product development, and determine appropriate limits and variables for process specifications.
• Maintain and own processing BKMs (Best Known Methods) and practices in the area you are in charge of.
• Collaborate internally to plan, collect data, analyze results, and report on customer demos.
• Contribute to continuous improvement missions and next generation product development by ensuring roadmaps drive differentiated and high value solutions to customer needs. Improve product performance by fostering approaches that are unique and cutting edge.
• Provide leadership to guide engineers on design of experiments, ensuring team is using best methods and metrologies to deliver high ROI solutions to internal and external customers.
• Present to senior management inside and outside of Lam.
