About The Position
Ingredion is seeking a Process Engineer Lead to provide leadership and technical solutions to operations at the ARGO Plant in Bedford Park, IL. This role is pivotal in managing assigned operations and tasks across various areas to achieve the plant's safety, quality, cost, and customer delivery objectives. The Process Engineer Lead will serve on task forces, cross-functional teams, and committees, and will be required to work shift assignments as necessary. In this position, you will assist in the daily operations to ensure the production of high-quality products that meet customer demands. You will be responsible for maintaining historical data, analyzing key efficiencies, and monitoring parameters against design specifications to aid operations in troubleshooting and achieving production goals. Coordination of maintenance activities will also be a key responsibility, ensuring that all necessary maintenance is completed to meet production needs. Safety, health, and environmental programs will be a priority, as you will work to ensure workforce stability and compliance with regulatory guidelines. You will monitor process conditions and operational activities, proposing corrective actions as needed to maintain cost-effective and efficient operations. Additionally, you will analyze processes, develop new operating techniques, and recommend changes or capital expenditures to enhance business efficiencies and product quality. Training and coaching operations personnel in process design and operational techniques will also be part of your role, contributing to organizational strength and individual growth.
