In this position you will: Develop and qualify process development for III-V semiconductor wafer fabrication processes Designing experiments for process robustness and optimization. Improve various wafer Fab processes for manufacturability and yield improvement Conduct process capability analysis, failure mode analysis, and SPC review for continuous design and process improvement Work with Production/Integration Engineers to troubleshoot process issues and disposition WIPs. Perform automation and analysis of data

Requirements

  • Student currently pursuing Bachelor degree or Master or PhD degree in electrical engineering, materials science, physics, or other relevant major.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor material and device.
  • Proficiency in SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
  • Ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
  • Experience in Thin Film Deposition, Scribing, and Cleaving processes, Bar stacking/unstacking.
  • Willing to learn semiconductor wafer fab operations (Manufacturing Execution System, process and quality control, change management etc.) in a high-volume manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving, teamwork, project management, communication and presentation skills are essential for success in this position.
  • Strong ability to work closely with others in a very cross-functional team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and engineering analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is a plus.
