About The Position

The Optical Sub-Assembly (OSA) and Optical Component Solutions (OCS) groups are seeking a highly motivated intern within the engineering disciplines (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, etc.) to support our critical modernization initiative on the manufacturing floor. SubCom has deployed over 50% of the high-tech subsea fiber optic cables throughout the globe, ensuring data communications networks are engineered, manufactured, and deployed to the highest standards. Every member of the SubCom team plays a role in an end-to-end process that is critical to enterprises, governments, big cities, and rural towns. Requirements

• Proficiency in design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently.
