About The Position

The Sr Process Engineer position at Novo Nordisk focuses on enhancing system and equipment reliability within the manufacturing processes, particularly in the bulk area for Process Analytical Technology (PAT). This role involves addressing complex technical issues, leading process improvement projects, and supporting technology transfer and process validation efforts. The engineer will also mentor peers and contribute to the development of best practices across the site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of engineering experience in Maintenance, Design, Process Improvement
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent
  • Knowledgeable in Instrument and Electrical, Mechanical, Control/SCADA/PLCs, Process Improvement Methodologies, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Coach & mentor peers and Engineers
  • Support technical development of Process Engineers, Maintenance Technicians & Technical Area Specialists
  • Lead process improvement projects with cross-functional teams, utilizing Six Sigma Black Belt concepts
  • Conduct best practice research and implement findings across the site
  • Serve as system and process expert for the site
  • Manage schedule & budget for capital projects
  • Support event response activities
  • Maintain & establish standards for procedures & maintenance plans
  • Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties
