About The Position

Tell Manufacturing, an ASSA ABLOY brand is growing and we are looking for a Process Engineer II to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is an on-site position supporting daily operations and continuous improvement efforts across our facility. You’ll lead cost-reduction projects, optimize manufacturing processes, and provide technical leadership to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, standardize processes, and drive long-term operational performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience with continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects
  • Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing operations and workflow design
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) and statistical analysis software (MiniTab preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify and execute cost-reduction opportunities across materials, scrap, labor, and tooling
  • Support new product and process introductions, ensuring smooth transitions into production
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Create and maintain process documentation and SOPs
  • Monitor equipment performance and partner with Maintenance on repairs or upgrades
  • Champion lean principles and 5S standards across assigned areas
  • Manage mid-level capital and process improvement projects
  • Special assignments as assigned
  • Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
