What You Will Do Our Process Engineers provide day to day tactical direction, apply technical skills, maintain operations, and resolve routine issues. They ensure safe, efficient, productive, and environmentally sound manufacture of active ingredients. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Assists plant management and operations personnel daily in evaluating and achieving plant performance goals related to safety, quality, waste minimization, capacity, reliability, and operability, subject to supervisory review. Makes tactical decisions based on plant knowledge. Coordinates with corporate and site production planners on production timing and raw material availability. Development and tracking of key performance indicators. Participates with investigations of area performance issues related to safety, quality, environmental impact, capacity, reliability, and operability leading to proposal and implementation of sound technical solutions. Actively investigates where possible. Serves as process expert or plant representative when possible for design, construction and implementation of investment projects interfacing with technical professionals from other disciplines (e.g. PCT, project engineering, environmental and utility services operations, and process development) Maintains and develops standards for area operating documentation (e.g. standard operating procedures, process descriptions, material and energy balances, P&IDs, and operating data collection and retrieval) Collaborates on design and executes plant trials directed at enhancing area performance. Proposes design based on plant knowledge. Compiles, formats, and submits environmental data necessary for timely and accurate filing with local, state, and federal agencies. Engages in continued development of self and area personnel with peer coaching and constructive feedback. Support Site and Area Production System improvements, OnePSS

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other science based Degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Chemical engineering
  • 2 years of engineering experience preferably in plant operation Function
  • Excellent knowledge of chemical processes in order to effectively analyze, recommend, and make decisions.
