About The Position

The Process Engineer II - MSAT - Equipment role at Novo Nordisk focuses on improving and developing systems and equipment for core manufacturing processes. This position aims to meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements while providing technical support to resolve manufacturing issues. The engineer will evaluate manufacturing effectiveness, implement improvements, and ensure optimal efficiency in manufacturing operations and product quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience in maintenance, design, or process improvement
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge in Instrument & Electrical, Mechanical, Control/SCADA/PLCs, Process Improvement Methodologies, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), & Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) preferred
  • Proven expertise in planning, organization, and execution of maintenance activities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

  • Coach & mentor peers, Engineering personnel & Process Maintenance Technicians
  • Support technical development of Process Maintenance Technicians & Technical Area Specialists
  • Employ advanced cLEAN® tools for problem solving, project & change management
  • Lead cross-functional process improvements
  • Develop plans to improve the performance of processes or systems using green belt concepts
  • Develop & manage project budgets for process improvements
  • Support event response activities
  • Implement better practices & share knowledge across OFP sites
  • Maintain & establish standards for procedures & maintenance plans
  • Support global OFP collaboration initiatives
  • Perform additional accountabilities as required
