About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer at Saint-Gobain plays a crucial role in ensuring production efficiency and quality by collaborating with various teams, including QPC Engineers and production supervisors. This position involves providing materials and process engineering support, leading process development and improvement projects, and acting as a liaison for implementing new processes or products. The engineer will manage project scopes, work with customers to enhance processes, and define standards in the ERP system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, etc.)
• 1 - 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Project management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with QPC Engineer and production supervisor to meet production efficiency and quality requirements.
• Provide materials and process engineering support for manufacturing.
• Lead process development, improvement, and scale-up projects.
• Manage project assignments from single components to new product introductions.
• Work with internal and external customers to improve processes and reduce waste.
• Justify capital expenditures and solve process-related problems.
• Implement improvements in manufacturing processes.
• Define and implement standards in the ERP system with the production supervisor.
• Create proper BOM and routings in collaboration with the supply chain.
