About The Position

Intervala is seeking a Process Engineer to support and enhance our wire and cable assembly operations. This role focuses on developing and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost savings in complex electromechanical builds.

Requirements

• Experience in electronic/electromechanical manufacturing, with emphasis on cable assemblies and box builds
• Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and J-STD-001 standards
• An attitude of continuous improvement and an eagerness to be on the manufacturing floor solving everyday problems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Skilled in process improvement, technical documentation, and problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Organize, implement, and maintain cable and box build production processes
• Create and maintain assembly instructions, workmanship standards, and process documents
• Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Collaborate with design engineering on DFM/DFX for manufacturability, test, and cost
• Liaise with suppliers to advance processes and technologies
• Research and implement new methods to improve quality, sustainability, and efficiency
