About The Position

The Process Engineer for Assembly at Kohler is responsible for administering, formulating, and implementing engineering activities to support the Arkansas Faucets Operation facilities. This role focuses on achieving KSMS Tier I to IV goals while ensuring a safe working environment. The engineer will address production constraints, support quality assurance, and contribute to global initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, safety, and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • 1+ year of work experience in an Engineering Department, including co-op and internship experience.
  • Ability to develop, analyze, and implement corrective actions to improve manufacturing operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, particularly Excel; experience with SAP and drafting programs is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across various levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Production facilities for Arkansas Faucet Operations in addressing production constraints and limitations.
  • Ensure quality of products received and produced meets engineering standards and specifications through vendor contact.
  • Contribute to Global Faucet initiatives in areas such as Kaizen, quality, efficiency, cost reductions, delivery, safety, and performance.
  • Provide specialized support to Plating and PVD areas based on process analysis for efficiency improvement and scrap reduction.
  • Assist in the conception, development, and release of new products and technologies in Arkansas Faucet Operations.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor or Arkansas Faucet Operations Management.
