About The Position

Individual will complete feasibility study analysis and strategy development for AGV system within DMMI. This includes collaborating regionally and globally as needed. After strategy is develop and system is prepared, individual will be leading equipment specification, justification, installation, testing, buyoff, process validation & capability. This includes direct day to day on-going support after implementation and hand-off to production support system. Person directly implements MTP for AGV with DMMI to achieve 2030 MTP KPI targets then expanding beyond to NSR affiliates.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering and 3 years relevant experience. or a Technical degree and 7 years of relevant experience or 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with process design for AGV’s, including launching / integrating AGV automation projects.
  • Highly motivated and technically competent, innovative problem-solver that incorporates the plan, do, check, action methods.
  • Excellent self-management and project management skills (ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to collect, analyze and effectively use data to drive decision making.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management and organization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, prioritize, and multitask.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (TAC group companies, DMTN, DNJP, etc.)
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Process design and equipment/machine procurement for AGV
  • Introduce innovative manufacturing technology through prototype equipment development.
  • Project management (schedule development and budget tracking)
  • Support company and departmental G&O’s (safety, quality, efficiency, cost reduction, environmental and delivery).
  • Equipment/jig specification, justification, installation, testing, and buyoff, process validation & capability.
  • Lead planning and equipment/machine install events, support equipment training, line-off, and document buy-off condition incorporating ergo, safety and spare parts.
  • Provide regular updates to management on key projects.
  • Capacity and feasibility studies.
  • Prepare and present materials that explain background, concern, current condition, and countermeasures.
  • Understand machine operation and make suggestions to improve machine operation ratios, net operator time and product flow.
  • Communication between support departments for open items. (Design, Quality, Production Control, Production, Business Planning, Purchasing, etc.).
